Are BCA's and glutamine worthwhile sups?

I tried searching but didn't get the info I needed. I have a baisic idea of what both of these things are supposed to do, but didn't see much input on anyones experiences with them. So, what does eveyrone think, are they worth taking?

If so, what kinda should I get?

By BCA's do you mean BCAA's? The branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs) are leucine, isoleucine, and valine and are considered essential amino acids. BCAAs are needed for the maintenance of muscle tissue and appear to preserve muscle stores of glycogen. BCAAs also help prevent muscle protein breakdown during exercise. Some research has shown that BCAA supplementation (typically 10-20 grams per day) does not result in meaningful changes in body composition, nor does it improve exercise performance or enhance the effects of physical training.

I'd go with BCAA's over glutamine.

Yes I do mean BCAA's.

yeah and about what I've read: Your body makes glutamine right, so that doesn't seem as necesarry. Also i take about 3 serving of optimum whey a day so even BCAA's may not be that usefull. But what I'm thinking they might be good for is right before doing long rides (i do road biking and ride for hours at a time) and before I sleep.

Any more input would be great.
