Are liquid supplements really better than tablets?

I'm looking into buying glucosamine, chondroitin, msm supplement. There are liquid forms which contain little chondroitin and claim its enuf since its liquid. Any truth in this?

Absorption should be quicker but for overall absorption as long as the tablet is designed properly it is equal in dose absorbed in total so doses should be equal. Tablets have to be broken down to solution before they are absorbed anyway so the only difference is in rates.

Be careful, many substances are NOT stable in liquid form therefor may not provide you with any benefit (For example CREATINE). I would go with the tablets. Keep in mind powders are different than liquid supplements.

The well-known companies for supplements dont sell them in liquid form. They usually sell em in tables or powders.

Also, do not purchase creatine in liquid form. Only companies that claim there better are the ones that sell em.

Good call on the creatine example. Powder is generally your safest bet.

How unstable is creatine in water? I.e. if I make a shake (water whey dextrose creatine) before I go to gym then have it 2 hours later?
