bodybuilders, weightlifters, what vitamin, mineral, herbal do you supplement?

hello,

im just starting to get into supplementation as far as ...
(already been taking vit-C and multi for long time)

ones like Coenzyme Q10 for ATP and cellular energy before workouts...

and other things like Chromium to fight simple carb cravings during cutting...

right now I supplement (in 1 day):

1 x Multi-Vitaman (kirkland brand hard tablet)
1 x Flaxseed 1000mg (gel cap) - (omega-3 (ALA),6,9)
1 x Fish Oil - (omega-3, EPA DHA)
2 x Vitamin C - (500 mg)
1 x CoEnzyme Q10 - (50 mg pre-workout)
1 x Chromium tablet

just want to see what the DF community bodybuilders and weightlfters take?

as far as herbal, non-herbal, vitamin, mineral supps.

Thanks in advance

Trevor

I'd stop taking all that except the multi and vitamin C...you can also use vitamin E every once in a while but don't overdo it...those are fat soluble and they can become toxic with too much....as for the oils and the rest...if you are eating a healthy bodybuilding diet you won't need any of that stuff....What is the basis behind the Chromium??? I think it is a waste, as well as the CoQ...any enzyme that you take orally gets destroyed as soon as you hit the HCl in the stomach....Save your money on the unnecessary supps and get some good protein, creatine, and things of that nature that will give real results...

well i take andro while bulking and cutting(m1t) because it just builds/keeps so much muscle

creatine is a must

eating every 2-2 1/2 hours is a definite must, and smoking weed is a must just to get your greens besides the veggies

Tigz, just want to say I appreciate your mature and thought out questions and responses. Its nice to see someone not asking " do I need protein" or something like that everyday. :
I'd continue taking what you are if funds are allowable. Limit your Vitamin C to no more than a 1000mcg a day, for that can be hard on the liver over time. Chromium is very misunderstood by many people. It is good for people who want to lose weight as well as gain weight. Great for utilizing blood glucose in the blood stream.
Taking both Flax and fish oils might be a little much. Keep your dosing low with the fish oil to help keep and hard metal from building up in your blood.
Vitamin E is good like said before, but no more than 400 ieu a day.
Alpha Lipoic Acid and Biotin together make a wonderful anti0oxident.

Keep the multi and vitamin C (take before/after your workout). I would also increase your fish oil and flax seed intake (3-6 grams of each).

As was mentioned, you won't get much out of the C-Q10 and chromium
