Okay, I've never taken casein or weight gainer, but while deployed I found I was having trouble getting enough calories so I ordered some Cyto Gainer and took that for about 2 weeks once or twice a day primarily before bed. I've always known about casein but chose to ignore it because I didn't feel like bothering with another supplement. I'm redeploying back to the US next week and I really noticed the benefits of the weight gainer for supplementing my calories (570) and want to continue using it. However, Cytogainer doesn't list casein among its ingredients (that I can tell) only whey, is it appropriate to take before bed or should I just take
casein protein. Are their better
weight gainers with high contents of casein and all the other ingredients, carbs, minerals, vitamins?
Opinions, please.
