Cell Tech
I just bought a 7 lb container of Cell Tech for $56 because I used to take v12 and now wanted to try something different. I have been off creatine for a few months, but have continued taking whey protein for nearly a year. I am just curious if anyone can give me any "heads-up" or advice on consuming Cell Tech most effectively/effeciently! Thanks!

Don't waste your money on Cell Tech, all it is, is creatine ($0.10/serving) and KoolAid

That may be true, but different creatines and supplements in general effect individuals bodys differently. I have heard some good and some bad experiences with Cell Tech, but I would say it is at least worth a try to see if it works for me. Plus, it seems most people complain about the price and $56 for a 7 lb. container is not half bad. Also, cell tech has other supplements in it (Taurine for instance) that Creatine Monohydrate does not have. You never know how your body will react to certain supplements until you try them! :

Great response
Did you just respond to your own thread with advice to yourself? You asked for 'heads up' on taking Cell-Tech, and then you said you never know how your body will react to certain supplements. That's true, but if you knew that, why did you ask that??
Anyways, in my opinion Muscletech is the worst company on the market. They pretty much own the magazine MuscleMag (the editors have a stake in one another) and use articles that would seem like true interviews with great bodybuilders but are really just advertisements for their products. Cell-Tech will work, just like any product with 10 grams of creatine per serving will work but to spend that kind of money is not for me.
Now I will talk about my experience with creatine. It's great. I've used a bunch of different brands. For the basic benefits, unflavored pure creatine is the cheapest and basic way to go. EAS's Phosphagen HP actually does go a little farther and produce good results.
I no longer load because it gives me the runs, loading is useless anyhow.

i wouldve gone with vitargo...not just a damn expensive koolaid with 10 grams of creatine
it actually has different ingredients than all the other "advanced" creatine formulas
i still, however, give props to muscletech for nitro tech and hydroxycut
if you want simply when to take cell tech though...on non training days, take 1 serving with breakfast...on workout days, take 1 serving immediatyely after your last set

*LOL* I was just asking for advice on ways/times to take Cell Tech for best results. I was only responding to pmcgough with my second post.
Thanks for the advice guys. You are starting to make me believe I completely wasted my money. What would be the next best alternative to Cell Tech? V12 Turbo?

go to easypricematch.com
go to nutrex research
then, go to yahoo on another page, search for vitargo at a cheaper price than theirs, and then pricematch it

What I use:
NOW micronized creatine (120 servings for 22 bucks)
Cranberry Juice
A couple packs of Smarties, sometimes
This is just as effective as anything else you'll but off the shelf, and a lot cheaper too.

Well i have used celltech before and it worked great for me. Damn man if you can afford it then just use celltech. The reason why i dont take it now is because its just a lil too much money for me. I have other stuff i have to pay for.

I think Cell-Tech is a great product if you're wealthy. It's great for post-workout due to the sugars and ALA in it. The alpha lipoic acid will help to metabolize the sugars and carbs into glycogen much quicker. Again however, you can buy supplemental ALA for dirt cheap.

you know you can also buy straight dextrose too
if i were you and really wanted to use celltech
id buy-R-ALA or ALA, and straight dextrose
put in 10g creatine, 50g dextrose, and 300mg ALA, or 150mg R-ALA

What about the Taurine? And if I buy ALA supplement will that give the "tingling sensation" that the ALA does in Cell Tech? Also, is Vitargo CGL a good supplement? I havent heard much about it? I checked here for this supplement and it seems more expensive then Cell Tech: http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/nutrex/vitargo.html This is a good read it states how Vitargo is a better solution than creatine and dextrose and what exactly Vitargo effects... Would Vitargo and ALA be a combination to consider? What would you recommend Vitargo CGL or V12 Turbo?

I will say that muscletech is a bit overhyped because they do make a lot of money and buy a lot of ads in magazines, but their products aren't half bad, just overpriced. A lot of people complain that they suck but they are good products but like I said overpriced. I get them for dirt cheap or even free sometimes so it's no hole in my wallet so I figure I'd give it a chance. I'll keep you all posted on results. I just started taking size on today by gaspari nutrition, I'm also taking a multi-vit, nano vapor for pre workout, like I said size on for post and glutamine and then hydroxycut for fat burning on my low carb days. I get most of these supps for free except for the nano vapor so I'll let u know how this stack goes.
