It gets some good user reviews. Having never used it I cannot pass much comment but what I would be interested in is some actual evidence of its claims. What does 'works wonders for me' mean, what have been the tangible results and how can you prove it was lean muscle mass that was increased?

I'm not having a go, the above is meant in the factual sense - some of the claims are pretty good, so much so that when I've got some strength back, I would be willing to do some conditional tests on it!

Well it definitely is not lean muscle as we all know that creatine provides water filling to the muscles. But it sure as hell gets your strength up quite a bit.

Yep I fully agree. Studies in the Journal of Athletic Training 38 (Jan-Mar 2003): 44–50. National Athletic Trainers' Association, Inc, found that in the long term, increase in body mass was not only to do with increased water retention. Also highlighted is the correlation between increased creatine uptake and increase in satellite cells which helps hypertrophy

HOWEVER, any pure grade creatine will do exactly the same for half the cost...

Is it real or is it illusionary psychology?? The changes for those involved in the 'Hawthorne Effect' were real however it was due to illusionary psychology. I've not seen evidence of the former...

The real muscle gains don't come from the supplement. They come from the water filled muscles being stronger. Stronger muscles lift more weight. More weight makes bigger muscles. It's an oversimplification..but really...it is that simple.

Hi .v.

Creatine has been proved to increase the mitotic activity of satellite cells as well as total body water (TBW), extracellular water (ECW), and intracellular water (ICW) volumes

As a supplement on its own, the increased mitotic activity leads to hypertrophy, TBW is another effect which people frequently believe the increased weight is muscle mass.

My questioning here is that oral creatine (CR) produces these results (increased satellite activity, increased TBW, increased lean muscle mass), what does can Cell Tech do that changes what is already available in cheap pharma CR?

Personally my guess is not much apart from playing with the recipients psych (which I guess is important as perception can be reality)

Spurlock in 2004 when he produced 'Super Size Me' gained 10lb in 5 days, he was of course eating 5000 calories a day with no exercise.

10lbs is approx TBW increase of 4500ml. The adult human body is about 55% water, if the average 75kg person done this, 41kg would be water so the normal person would be gaining approx an additional 10% of water retained - I dont think thats harmful

May give it a go under conditions and measure the results...
