Cordyceps or Eleuthero?

Thinking about buying and taking one these to help improve my energy, stamina, and endurance. But first I want to hear from you guys and ask what's best and for the price?

The recommendation for Cordyceps is about 2-4 grams a day. VS has one for about $20 for 200 (520mg) caps. Doing the math; I need to take at least four caps a day to get 2 grams. And 200 caps would last me no more than 50 days.

They recommend 2-3 grams a day for Eleuthero. VS has one for about $10 for the same amount (200 caps, 648mg). Again, doing the math; I only need about three caps for 2 grams. So 200 caps would last 66 days.

So all in all (results plus price), overall which one should a get? Thanks for your time.

EDIT: Oh, sorry, I forgot to mentioned that I do exercise. I run about two miles twice a week (planning on taking up a notch), lift weights several times a week (for strength, not really trying to built up), and play basketball a few hours twice a week. I think I'm happy with my strength and just wants to improve my endurance. And I'm 21 yr old, BTW.

Never heard of them. I've personally found that proper nutrition and hard exercise are best for increasing energy and feeling good.

Try that first. If your diet is dialed in just right for your body, you don't really need suppliments.

suplemental protien and creatine are the only suplements worth takeing unless your a competiteve bodyduilder looking for any little paper thin edge to to win. i agree with welch, supplements are like the iceing on the cake, where as your diet your comitment to hit the gym and get proper rest are the cake, so before you go buy that iceing learn how to make damn good cake or you will have nothing worth putting it on.

Oh, to improve endurance - no supps needed. Simply go a few extra steps each time out. Shoot for a 10% improvement each week or two. Another thing that can help is some higher rep workouts - I don't mean do 15-20 reppers each workout, but occasional 10-12 or even 15 rep sets in the gym won't hurt.

have you looked into Rhodiola Rosea and/or Bacopa Monnieri? They both are adaptogens, which in conjunction with the training adjustments recommended here, will help your body adjust to higher demands. Bacopa, in particular, assist your nervous systems and stress response, making sure your body adapts without undue taxation.
