You are an excellent consumer.

I hate to pick on your choices, but I'm just trying to save you a little hard earned money.

Protein is absorbed faster than amino acids into the blood stream. Amino acids have different absorbsion rates and can actually cause a negative nitrogen balance. Most "amino supplements" are nothing more than compressed protein in a tablet.

Colostrum, while theoretically it coud be good for you, that would only be true if you didn't have a fully developed digestive tract. Without any baterial flora (you have lots). All of these colostrum supplements come from COWS. (Like designed for baby COWS). How many grown men you know suckle a cow?

Chysin has been shown to bind to certain estrogens (or something like that). The important part is that this has only been shown in a test tube. Estrogen is very important to see the anabolic effects of testosterone. Why do you think you make it!?

I'm afraid to ask what secret mix is in the growth poppers.

I'd just stick with Creatine and some nice Whey Protein Isolate in your post workout shake. Throw some carbs in that shake too. Dextrose, sucrose, glucose (table sugar) all work fine.

You will definately notice the difference taking creatine for a month. Helps you lift more, which means more overload, which means bigger muscles.

Then ask us again next month

For what you are using the supps for I would drop the chrysin and keep the poppers. L-dopa is good for raising GH, which is what you will need to increase your height. I assume that you take them before bed on an empty stomach?

Colostrum is a waste of money. It's the first milk let down for newborns, and it's totally useless unless you're a newborn calf.

ShortGuy: Go to the doctor. Get x-rayed. Ask your doctor if your plates have fused or not. If you are done growing, ALL of the stuff you are taking is a total waste of your money.

DOPA will make you less likely to come down with depression or Parkinson's disease, but it will not help you grow.

You are correct Cougar that l-dopa is used for treating Parkinsons's disease, but that is not its only use. If ShortGuy is using Pinnacle Alpha Dopa Growth Poppers then they get their l-dopa from Mucuna pruriens, also known as velvet bean. This is a known gh releasing agent, and there is nothing wrong with taking it in an effort to help overcome a height issue, especially because this may be his last shot at any possible growth. Just be careful not to take more than 1.5 gms per day of l-dopa or you stand a chance of overdosing on the product.
