What do people think about creatine I have a friend who added 30 pounds to his bench (210-240) and went from weighing 205-225 in 6 weeks with it. He's 16 so I thought thats impressive. I've also heard it messes up ur liver and stuff. I need some opinions on it.

I like creatine. It is one of the few supplements that work to put on size and strength. Research is indicating that it isn't harmful to the liver or kidneys provided you drink plenty of water while you are using it. From all that I have read, water is what makes it work. Your friend made some fairly impressive gains on it. I'm sure he worked very hard in the gym as well as supplementing his diet with creatine.
If you are thinking about using creatine, I suggest that you workout on a good program for at least one year to see what you can do without any supplements. Just eat well and do your cardio and strength training. Then at least you will know what creatine does for you and if you even need it, when and if you decide to use it.
