Creatine ?

I recently got the creatine capsules and the bottle says to take 5 after a workout, but I've heard before to take it before the workout. Which should I do?

"5 after a workout" ? I hope you dont mean 5 scoops ! . It does says to stack it when you first get it but thats its. After that take one scoop after your workout but dont forget to drink alot of water .

oh sorry i didnt even see that ... umm do yourself a favor in the furture .. buy the powder . The pills and liquids dont work as good and fast as the power. Plus i think it ways easier to take.

I had the same dilemna when I started on creatine. I decided to take half before my workout, as it boosts performance and half in my post-workout shake to assist in recovery. Just to cover all bases!

I take mine in the powder form with juice about 45 minutes before I work out. I didn't know of any advantages to taking it after since the idea is to decrease muscle fatigue and after the workout who cares? right? After the muscles are tired and worn out i.e. failed should you be focused on recovery and building with proteins and amino acids etc . .

my .02$ doesn't mean much . . .
