Creatine and 6-OXO Info

I emailed a Pharmacist friend of mine at Pharmacist's Ultimate Health and asked his opinions on creatine and 6-oxo, just thought I'd post his response... not much new info really, but it's nice to hear a neutral and honest opinion from a pharmacist. He answers questions rather quickly and you can do so from their website for free.

Chris:
Creatine is a substance the body uses to help muscles contract with more force. This allows them to become stronger and grow larger, the latter also being due to some water retention within the muscle. It is important while on creatine to continue to workout, and to keep well hydrated.

The compound 6-oxo is still more propaganda than it is science. It is claimed to be a mild aromatase inhibitor, meaning it blocks an enzyme responsible for estrogen production. The theory is less estrogen and more testosterone means a leaner and more muscular physique. I would recommend caution if considering 6-oxo as we really don't know enough about potential interactions and side effects. Hope this information helps.

Good stuff. I'd have to agree to stay away from the 6-oxo. The average joe doesn't need an aromatase inhibitor. In the case of using it for PCT well, that's nuts. Nolva is the way to go there. Everyone seems to be looking for an edge that they'll take anything to speed up gains but, just get the diet and routine straight and you won't need 95% of the crap sold. (stepping off soapbox) LOL

I have one bottle of 6-oxo sitting at home, just arrived today... i'm going to use that up and be done with it i think, unless of course it's my wonder drug, lol.

Didn't catch the order in time to cancel it, so I'm just going to try it out.

Post up how it goes. I hate to see someone being a human guinea pig but if you plan to use it, getting firsthand info would be good for people to read.

I really dont see how 6-OXO on its own is going to help at all. Unless of course you have more estrogen then the average man then it MIGHT help to balance it out. I always thought its main use was PCT for people coming off a pro-hormone.

I know what you mean...

I'm not going to max out on it, probably 2 a day for 1 week, then 3 per day which will give me about a 22 day cycle. Then I'll be off of it for 2 weeks or more... if it helped, I will do another cycle, if not I'll be done.

I've heard before bed is the best time to take it, but what I don't know is if that's for morning workouts or if it doesn't matter.

Its not going to be a boost for your workouts, so I'd take it as it says, because if you dont take the recommended dose I can almost guarantee you'll see no difference. So take it when it says to. Its doing things with your hormones (supposedly) so let it do its thing.
