Creatine and blood pressure

Since creatine causes the body to "hold" water so to speak can it cause a increase in blood pressure?

Actually, the risk is a decrease in blood pressure. It moves water into the muscle cells. This is extravascular space. The volume in the intravascular space is what makes blood pressure go up or down - either by container size changes (vasoconstriction or vasodilation) or volume changes (bleeding, fluid overload, fluid shift, dehydration). As water is moved into the cells, there is less available for the vascular space - that is one reason it is so important to drink enough when using creatine.

Take it, drink up, lift away, enjoy getting bigger and stronger.
