Actually you are probably wasting your time with both. Creatine will just increase water retention in most people and not much else. Glutamine is a waste because it is only one amino acid out of the many necessary to build muscle. Stick to real foods and you'll turn out better.

The whole idea of creatine is to increase water rentention... that's how your muscle cells give you that small % increase of explosive power. Glutamine... well some love it some hate it, it work's well for me to retain muscle mass...eating a wide variety of food will benefit you by giving you a good supply of a full amino acid complex, but supplementing extra glutamine has been proven (in some cases) to be beneficial for muscle mass, particularly on harsh diets.

I just personally feel that the cost of creatine is not worth the very little bit of help it may(not necessarily will) provide you. And I also worry about any possible long-term health problems from using the product since it isn't natural mass so who's to say that it doesn't provide the same long-term health problems as steroids.

Mass gained whilst on creatine and steroids is the same mass gained by the guy next to you who hasn't touched any supplements in his life, muscle is muscle it's human biology there's no denying it. Whether you gain 30lbs in 8 weeks or you gain 30lbs in 6 months... there's no difference other than the time it's taken you to gain it, given that you use these supplements correctly and with professional medical supervision and let your body adjust to the weight I can't see any long term health issues from a single cycle or use of sports supplements.

I was using GNCs Creatine Monohydrate powder, I followed proper loading period and maintaince. After about 3-4 weeks of using with a decent but not excellent diet. I was able to add more weight or rep out on just about everything. I noticed big gains on the bench press going from 5 reps of 155 to 8 reps of the same weight and maxing out a 1 RM of 205. Before my max on the bench was 185. Maybe coincidental may not be. I just recently switched to Cell Tech and Nitro Tech combo. 2 days into it though.
