creatine and water


hey guys,everybody knows when you are on creatine you are supposed to drink a ton of water, but my question is, sometimes i work out at night and i know that you are supposed to take your creatine after you work out but....does the water need requirement need to be met after you take the creatine or can i drink a gallon during the day and take my creatine at 10pm (after workout)?

You don't necessarily have to take creatine after you workout, but anyway, as long as you get enough water during the day, that should suffice.

you don't "have" to but it is better for maximum results if you do take it after right? better for recovery right?

Yes. But just make sure you do tons of cardio, or you will bloat up.

and take your creatine and water whenever you want, the timing doesnt matter

For optimal effectiveness, take your creatine with dextrose immediately after your workout. This will help carry the water into the muscle cells. With the water goes your nutrients. With nutrients...comes growth...and wow...you grow when you sleep. So you need to get up and pee during the night from all the water? Big deal. Get up and pee...and eat a chicken breast while you are at it. After you wash your hands of course.
