Creatine - body fat measurement question

Hey all,

This is my first post so I thought I'd say hi first.

Im just wondering, i've been on creatine for about 2 weeks nows and have just bought a body fat meter (one of the ones which you place your fingers on and it sends a small electric current through you).

ATM its saying my bodyfats about 20% ish - but im just wondering if this is higher than my actual body fat due to the water volumising effect that creatine has with your muscles?

Cheers for any help.

Are you using a meter that uses a electric current to derive your body fat too?

Im pretty sure I read some where that these type of bf meters depend on several factors - hydration being one of them ...

I have the Tanita body fat scale which you stand on and it sends a current thru your body. I usually measure it during the same time of the day, usually a good few hours after a workout or eating.
