Creatine Capsules

I am looking into taking creatine and I want to try to take it in capules. The reason is... I am not having great fun with this protien shake thing (the taste, sort of makes me want to gag, and i have tried a lot of different ones), and I am completely fine with capsules. So, would this be good?

Also, do they make protien capsules?

Huge waste of money. I don't like creatine in my shakes either. Buy powder, mix it with few ounces of water (and dextrose if you use it), and suck it down. Done. Then you can have a decent shake after that.

So what would be a good cheap powder. Anyone out there have any favorites?

I currently use cell tech. Am I wasting my money? (I love the grape taste

Check out my Creatine FAQ sticky at the top of this forum. Any Creapure-labeled creatine is perfect.

Yes, you're wasting your money on Cell Tech (see the FAQ).

Do yourself a favor, make your own.

Cell-Tech recipe:

10 grams creatine monohydrate
75 grams dextrose
2 grams taurine
200 milligrams alpha lipoic acid

Combine all ingredients and add a little bit of kool-aid powder for flavoring.

I can't tell you that because I haven't been to GNC lately. Too damn overpriced if you ask me. Online shopping is your best bet. Im sure that your local health food store carries it too.

The ALA and taurine are of questionable value anyway. ALA is supposed to help boost insulin levels, but all that dextrose will certainly do the trick. Taurine is great if you are a cat.
