There are creatine non-responders out there. If your basal creatine phosphate levels are high already, creatine is worthless for you. The only way to test this is via blood test however.

yes, 100% water. Bottled water, from the sink, it doesn't matter. Creatine doesn't work by itself, it needs water to help make it work. You should at LEAST in my opinion drink 1 gallon of water DAILY, if not more. Water is very important to the way Creatine works, but none the less, water is important without Creatine.

Straight water is the best, when I first took Creatine, I got little results. But I kept hearing people say to drink a lot of water, so I started to drink a lot more water, and the results came then. I dont really keep track of how much water I drink, but I can tell you this, after my creating and workout, it is about forty to sixty ounces. Not all at once, but spread out over the next couple of hours.

I can tell you this from my experiance. I work from 7am to 4pm every day through the week. I consume AT LEAST 3/4 of a gallon during this time. I then go home, go to the gym and lift & during both of these times I am still sipping on a water bottle. My results with Creatine are amazing. Its ok to cheat a pop here and there, but just always have that water bottle near by. Drink lots of water take your 5-10 grams of Creatine daily, within 2 weeks you will feel and look so much fuller, you will be amazed! Keep up the hard training and eat eat eat if you are wanting to gain.

Are you saying you drink sodas? I don't know if it's true but I've heard on several bodybuilding boards that caffiene flushes the creatine out of your system...

Caffene will affect your creatine results, dont take caffene around the same time as your creatine. When I do drink a soda, I try to drink it later in the day after the creatine has had time to work, and I usually try to get a caffene free diet
Water is best.

yah, caffeine and/or alcohol are not good things to consume when trying to get the most out of creatine. Those two substances tend to negate the positive affects that creatine provides.

yah, a gallon a day is probably minimum, just have to accomplish this by drinking in moderation throughout the entire day. And yes, 100% pure water is the only way to go...no soda, alcohol or anything that just CONTAINS water. You should see big results from taking in an ample amount of pure water....and the creatine will probably work 100% better too!
