Creatine dosage?


Just after a few examples,

What dosage of pure creatine do you take during the maintenance stage?

How many times a day?

Depends. Generally I would take 5 g on non-workout days and 10 g on workout days. But I don't load. I'm also big on cycling creatine.

I take 5g I don't cycle. I take a week or 2 off in a year. I never load.

Once a day. Right after my workout on lifting days and around 6 to 8 pm on no lifting days.

wouldn't it be more advisable to take creatine before a workout since you need the energy (or additional energy production)???

As far as I am aware, your muscles absorb creatine easier after a workout as opposed to before.
