If you're drinking that much water you'll be washing valuable minerals out of your body like sodium, potassium, magnesium etc. I would cut down on the amount of creatine you're taking to be honest.

Creatine shrinks body parts. Creatine also ****s with your stomach and I think it ****ed my kidneys up. The product Creatine is not the exact same stuff naturally produced in the body.

I found most of it by taking creatine. I took creatine monohydrate, so I don't know if thats the reason I was effected with negative and positive things from creatine. Creatine does help the body at the same time, but I personally feel I felt more Negative after effects from it than positive.

But if everyone seriously think I am bull****ting, when I am serious, then take creatine, why should I care if you screw your body up from it.

Scientific basis and practical aspects of creatine supplementation for athletes.

Volek JS, Rawson ES.

Department of Kinesiology, University of Connecticut, Storrs, Connecticut 06269, USA. jeff.volek@uconn.edu

A large number of studies have been published on creatine supplementation over the last decade. Many studies show that creatine supplementation in conjunction with resistance training augments gains in muscle strength and size. The underlying physiological mechanism(s) to explain this ergogenic effect remain unclear. Increases in muscle fiber hypertrophy and myosin heavy chain expression have been observed with creatine supplementation. Creatine supplementation increases acute weightlifting performance and training volume, which may allow for greater overload and adaptations to training. Creatine supplementation may also induce a cellular swelling in muscle cells, which in turn may affect carbohydrate and protein metabolism. Several studies point to the conclusion that elevated intramuscular creatine can enhance glycogen levels but an effect on protein synthesis/degradation has not been consistently detected. As expected there is a distribution of responses to creatine supplementation that can be largely explained by the degree of creatine uptake into muscle. Thus, there is wide interest in methods to maximize muscle creatine levels. A carbohydrate or carbohydrate/protein-induced insulin response appears to benefit creatine uptake. In summary, the predominance of research indicates that creatine supplementation represents a safe, effective, and legal method to enhance muscle size and strength responses to resistance training.

now 13 years available and over 500 studies done. :

um

Embarrassing question but, can Creatine go bad? and if it goes bad can in cause almost immediate Diahria.

I just like 25 minutes ago drank a cup of Creatine mixed with water that Ive had in my cupboard for about 6 months without really using and after takin it I almost immediatly (within 10 minutes) got a very powerful diahretic reaction.

is this normal or even plausible? (maybe just a coincidence)

Probably something else, I don't see it causing any kind of reaction in 10 minutes.

exactly how much creatine did you use?

"a cup of creatine mixed with water" can be read more than one way

Yes, creatine can go bad. Very rare but possible. Is there any kind of smell coming from the container?

I just bought Kre-Alkalyn in pill form... would it be OK to take them while eating grapes, instead of with grape juice? Also how many grapes/how much grape juice should I take with them?

If you do the loading phase eg,. 4 servings of 5grams per day, it should take about a week to start noticing the strength increases.
