Creatine: Yes!!!!

This is the golden standard of "regular" supplements. Most people notice strength and weight gain in the firts 2-3 weeks when on this (I notice it after 2 days) and although the weight gain is almost entirely water it will help you get a few more reps on almost all your exercises. And that's all that matters really.

Glutamine: maybe, maybe not.

Depends on what form and when you take it. Regular L-glutamine will not make it past the intestine (at least no more than 5% will) so your muscles won't benefit. Plus, there's plenty of L-glutamine in regular protein powder. Glutamine peptides might have better absorption rates but you should take it post-workout with a protein/high GI carb combo.

I think they should replace the stickers on glutamine containers with ones that say "Snake Oil."

I agree with the other posts. Your good protein powders have plenty of glutamine.

I've had good results with glutamine. Workouts that would otherwise leave me sore for days are no more thanks to glutamine.

I rate Glutamine highly... best supplement i've taken, much better for me than creatine. Increased LBM and strength gains were steady.

Everyone is different I guess.
