As long as it takes for you to build muscle. You will retain some water which is one effect and u should notice that after u lift for ahwile. more than anything you should notice an increase in engeery during workouts.

What kind of results do you expect? You should feel the water gain after the loading phase(shirt feels a little tighter ect...) and increased energy but that's about all the results you're gonna see.

I think people are misusing the rating system.

in terms of visible results, you wont see any right away, give it a couple of weeks.. but strength difference you should notice within a week.

Bro it's not like you've frontloaded 1g of Testosterone, creatine is not a magic potion, if it's muscle you're looking to build then a correct diet and lifting program is far more important than creatine.

Yes, you are right, Creatine doesn't build muscle, but it's affects allows your body to build it easier, given that you are doing everything else right (diet, rest, training intensity etc). Creatine draws water into the muscle cells, and helps to replenish your ATP (energy) system quicker between sets. Because of the increased water volumization within the muscles, it allows to act as a "cushion" while lifting as well...your muscles need water (proper hydration) to peform properly. All of this put together will enable you to work out harder, increase your power output during a short range of time (as in performing a set) ...and ultimately allow you to gain more lean muscle mass...so no, creatine doesn't "build" the muscle, but it aids or allows you to build more, given you apply all other required factors for growth.

Yeah in a nutshell it allows you to train harder so you can make better gains.
Point is if you eat and train right in the first place you'll make great gains without creatine.
I take it and like it just don't expect too much from it besides the energy.

Yah, you should make great gains without creatine if you do all those factors correctly, like you said....but, why not take creatine as well, if it will only help you out that much more?!! See what I mean? It's safe, it's natural and it will only help you more...so why short-change yourself by not taking it?
