creatine, i love this stuff

i started lifting about 4 weeks ago.. I didn't know much about working out so i got a personal trainner. But first i found this site and found that i should use creatine. the first week the max reps that i was benching 95lbs and we did the pyramid down. 95 was pretty heavy for me. Well this week we started at 95lbs i was doing it easy. So we went up on the weight. i was doing 135lbs.. My trainner said that they haven't ever seen someone go up on that much weight so much so quick. I have went up on everything. I take creatine pills from twin lbs. I take 10g per day (5 before and 5 after) my work outs. and 5g per day on off days. This stuff is great. I just bought a 5lb tub of protein yesterday. I should of gotten the protein the same time i got the creatine. I just wanted people to know that creatine really works.

Be very careful, don't bite off more than you can chew. Many creatine injuries occur because people all of the sudden feel a lot stronger, get cocky, and do way more than they should often tearing a muscle because it's not strong enough to stabilize the extra weight.

Starting off is when you usually see the best gains...it'll probably slow down as you get into the higher weights.

I agree with CORT..
You'll make some good gains your first few months up to a year and then it will taper off. I would not believe that a gain of 40 pounds on the bench came from creatine pills otherwise everybody and their cousin would be taking the stuff..
Your on the right track though so stick with it and let everyone know your progress.
And don't make the mistake of not taking picture before you get to far into your progress, You'll regret it later...

This is the truth. Even if you weren't on creatine you would be making incredible gains. I started off benching 95 lbs and like 8 weeks later i was at 180. It took me another 8 weeks to get to 200.

Yeah I know what ya mean. My before picture is really bad, and it is still the pic I have on my gym membership. I'm afraid if I go in there and I don't know the person working up front they wont let me in since I look so different

I was thinking about taking creatine. But i was afraid of the side affects because i have ashama. Do any of you have ashama and did any of you have adverse side affects.
