Who cares. Take both when you want as long as you are allowed to have food/beverage. Is anyone going to test you shake for a nutritional breakdown of whey, casien, lactose if you tell them it's chocolate milk? Mix the creatine right in there.

Some wrestling coaches don't want their athletes on it during the season because most of them restrict their water intake to make wieght which could cause some problems. So I'd respect their wishes. But anyone else doesn't know what they are talking about.

Numerous studies have shown creatine to be harmless in adults, and since a lb of beef has about 3gram of creatine and a typical dose is 5g how are they going to tell that you aren't just eating a lot of beef?

Even if your school somehow decided it was against the rules, it would be very hard to enforce. Worst case scenario you just play the "What? This isn't creatine...its cocaine..." line ...and then snort some for good measure.

Late response, but I just signed up...

How can they not allow something that isn't illegal? That's like telling a 16 year old they can't drive to school.

Actually, I believe that is quite common. At least at some high schools you need to get a parking pass to drive to school, and the number of passes is limited.

I can understand them banning things that are legal like the caffeine pills and maybe some of the andro stuff...but how in the world is there justification to banning whey protein....Maybe someone needs to educated our educators and let them know how stupid this all is....I would be recommending that to some of my student atheletes....

The Air Force has recently declared andro and all other hormone/testosterone supplements illegal even though you can still buy them in a store... so anyone in the military out there should look at their ingredient lists on their supps.

so, yes, you can make something illegal even if it isn't to the general public

Creatine is not andro nor a hormone/testosterone supplement.
