creatine is certainly NOT illegal. if it was you wouldn't be allowed to eat steak.
im not sure what you mean about 'advanced creatine supplements'. can you provide a link to an example?

Some leagues have banned creatine. I'm pretty sure you cannot use creatine in WV HS athletics. Don't quote me on that.

I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY doubt that statement. They'd have no way to check anyways, as creatine is contained in lots of meat.
Go ahead and use it, it's perfectly fine. I'm 99.9% sure.

Creatine is actually illegal in some high school leagues. I know for a fact it is in mine which is UIL. However, they don't inforce it because they really can't test it (and we never do any types of tests anyways.) So people still use it anyways and no one really pays much attention to it.

Sorry guys, I looked on the UIL site and it is not illegal for student athletes to take protein but it is frowned upon.
A recent law passed in Texas, House Bill 3420, prohibits any public school employee from distributing, selling, or marketing any performance-enhancing compound to athletes.
If you want to read about it go to http://www.uil.utexas.edu/ath/manuals/drug/manual.html
(It's a after the stuff on steroids)

I'm hoping to hell that you meant creatine and not protein cause that would be a RIOT if they frowned on taking protein.
"Attention Students: The cafeteria has switched to vegetables only, protein will NO longer be tollerated in this school!" "Anyone caught with protein will receive immediate suspension and a good ol' fashion spanking!"

Well, theres kids in my school that arent sure if your allowed to take it, but I know kids that take it right in the locker room before and after our 3rd hour period, which is advanced condtioning. If they got caught taking it in the locker room like say the coach walked in and saw them taking it, would they get in trouble?

I dunno
It's not illegal but if the classify it as eating and say there is no eating then yeah I suppose. My whole point behind this is that thye aren't telling you not to take protein because it's bad for you, because it's not. Now if they want to control moron kids from trying to make shakes, making messes and generally misbehaving because thye are eating when they are not supposed to, then Yes, they would get in trouble

They may also be outlawing shakes to prevent kids from slipping other than protein in them and since they can't monitor it they outlaw it

I don't believe that creatine is banned, but you may want to approach your coach and ask....Its been about 8 years since I was in HS and I know creatine was never mentioned, but I do know there were school policies on some other substances....there was a ban on any stimulant (including caffeine or ephedra in supplement form.)....If you are concerned ask a coach for policices....but the creatine will be flushed after about 3 weeks of non-dosing....
