Question

Creatine on cutting phase of diet??

I think I have heard people saying to cut creatine out when you are trying to reduce fat?? Is this true or just a rumor I really dont see where it would make a difference and I certainly dont feel like doing a loading phase again whenever I get off of the cutting phase!!

By the way guys the way you talk about it im starting to wonder when iron etc talk about it WHAT IS A LOADING PHASE, because on the bottle ive got it says 5g x 4 a day for a week = loading. So what is maintenance got to do with owt? and also can i have this question answered please .... when you finish a cycle of creatine does your muscle come off easy ? if so how do i keep it?

Creatine has you hold water in the muscle. Which is where you want it. This causes increases in lean body mass.

Unless you have some weight you have to get to for a competition, you shouldn't stop taking it, dieting or otherwise.

Lee, they think it take about 400-600g's to get the maximal amount of Creatine floating around in your system. At 5g's a day it takes a while to get there, so some people will take 20 g's for a month.

Hope that helps,
Fudo

Fudo so if you are trying to lose WEIGHT technically you should cut the creatine but if you are trying to keep the size of your muscles while losing FAT you should continue using the creating. This is kind of what I thought.

The sugars in the grape juice spike your insulin and this helps drive the creatine into your muscles. Most premade drinks use dextrose as the sugar. You are on the right track Lee. Keep going with it....
