Yes, Jeff - You should take Creatine everyday. I work out 5 days a week and Saturday I leave my body to recover and Sunday for rest.
Listen to your body though because this routine may or may not suit you.

Why do people say to take Creatine after work out?
After work out you need something which digests or effects your body right away because you just need something right away.
Where as Creatine takes about and hour or so to kick into your system, so I always take Creatine an hour before I hit the Gym and I have been taking it from the last 5.2 months and it has worked for me and
still working ..... gaining mass and strength?
I take
Protein Shake which hits my body right away ... when I come back from Gym.
