Creatine Question


Im not sure if this has been asked i havent seen it but, umm I am trying creatine I have seen some results which im really stoked about but is it true once i stop working out i will lose my muscle, because i havent worked my abs for liek 3 dayz because they have been really sore so just wondering what goes on.

When you stop working out completely your body tends to revert to its former self. Of course, it all depends on how long you have been working out too. The longer you have been hitting the gym, the longer it will take for your body to revert. And it won't get to its former shape completely.

I wouldn't worry about 3 days, lol.

You will not lose the muscle or strength you gained unless you don't train for a long period of time (4 weeks or so). Strength and muscle mass can actually be maintained training as little as once per week.

A couple of days off won't cause you problems and may be helpful if you over-exerted yourself at a previous workout.

rest is very important.

also, you will notice that as you grow older and have been training for longer, it takes significantly less time to get back on track after a break. you will lose some strength, and certainly muscle endurance, but it never feels like the first time.

I don't bother with creatine any more because this is what happened to me.

I bulk up, but I lose definition because of the water retention. When I stop taking it I noticeably lose a lot of bulk because the creatine levels in my body goes back to normal and I don't retain as much water anymore.

So I just take protein now, figure thats the main thing muscles are built from anyway. I'm not saying creatine is bad, it helps a lot, but considering what happens when I don't take it I'm tired of spending the money.
