creatine question

today i started cycling on creatine... how long are u supposed to take creatine after the loading stage??? and how to you cycle off it???cause i know that if u take creatine long enough your body adapts to not having to produce it naturally..(which isnt good)

You may get more responses if you post this in the supplements section. And there is a link in that section that answers a million questions on creatine.

Creatine shrinks males penis's and gives alot of men man boobs. is also known to effect females periods.

Steroids, gives people smallers balls and it effects womens periods, and gives women alot of facial hair.

Stay away from supplements because they may help you get stronger, but other then that they're bad.

Creatine is also the cause of dehydration, severe mood swings, hair loss, cancer, world famine, bubonic plague, war & quantum singularities.

Kid kiwi, cycle 4 weeks on & 4 weeks off. That way, you're wasting potentially 50% less money. Alternatively, put aside the money you'd spend on creatine & use it to buy quality organic meat, poultry, fish & dairy produce. The nutrients from these foods will not only support growth, but also maintain all other body systems/ organs to a healthy level.

Is this thread here to take the piss on the pure thickness of some peoples views based on totally unproven myths cause no one here could possibly be this ignorant.

There is definatly a lot of benefits to creatine and if you are going to cycle it at all wait 8-16 weeks

I really hope you are lying and don't actually believe that...creatine has no effects on hormonal levels in men or women.

This is why creatine should be taken with winstrol. One side effect as noted in the Physician's desk reference and all of my nursing drug guides is - penis enlargement.

Not that I endorse winstrol or creatine. Not that it would matter if I did - no one is going to listen to me either.

Just making a joke from what I saw in the side effect listing from back when I first took pharmacology. It was listed as a side effect of winstrol. Definitely not a good reason to try it though. It would mess up way too many other things, shrink the boys, and leave the new "big boy" unable to function.

Here are some real answers.

There is no timing for you to get off and on creatine cycle, it depends on your goal. For example, here is my goal.

From October to to end of March, I take creatine so i can bulk up my arm and gain much strenght much as possible. Also, i take this addition to protein.

From April to Usually End of Summer, I cycle of it because i want to loose all the water retention so my arm can look ripped at possible. But i still take protein.

M@xpower - thanks for the real information. It wasn't my question, but I have many. Most of them were answered in the creatine FAQ section though. I guess with the extra water going into the cells, it does make one look less ripped. That is something I don't look forward to myself if I try the creatine. I was once 300lb. Now at 180 & 10%BF, I have nice striations on my chest, delts, biceps, abs - the legs and part of the abs are still not right yet. But, my doc told me to try it to get stronger along with some other things that I'm afraid of and won't take right now (MS weakness - trying to overcome it with weight training)... I understand that it should be taken with a dextrose drink and protein together. She wasn't sure though when she told me to take it if I should do creatine with dextrose then protein, or protein first then creating with dextrose. Do you have an answer for that one? I seriously want to know. If I decide to use the stuff, I want to do it right.

Don't worry about any kind of order, just get the protein in you, get the dextrose in you, and get the creatine in you. You're taking it all in the same sitting either way, it doesn't really matter what order...
