Creatine Serum out of date - advice plz


i have several bottles of Xtra Advantage Creatine Serum still sealed but the expiry date is June 2005. I know this date is there for a reason but will i be taking a risk if i use it? Its never been opened and approx 3/4 months out of date. Yes yes why bother u say but figured id ask before i throw them out

ibz, I'm not a great fan of creatine serum - expensive per dose and also that nagging problem of "instability" when taken in that form. Having said that, if the bottle is still sealed my guess is that you can still take it. Use-by dates err overly on the side of caution. To my knowledge creatine does not go "off" or toxic. Whether or not this type of ready made creatine solution still packs any punch would be my main querie. Finish off your supply asap and then read/search as to most cost effective source of creatine. thanks for the advice mesomorph. i was careful not to start the whole debate on serum Vs other forms of creatine! I'll finish off the serum and will see how it goes. thanks

Medications in the bottle can't read.

Before some fool in washington decided not to allow it any more about 10 years ago, we used to send all our out of date drugs overseas to third world countries where they could be used and do someone some good.

Now we just have to toss them out or use them at the colleges when we teach classes for demonstration purposes.

this product has virtually zero creatine in it

Generally a generous expiry date is given for such produts but creatine is quirte unstable and will break down to the unwanted creatnine
