creatine spike

I'm on a "no sugar", "low-carb" diet and want to use creatine. What is the best way for me to spike my insulin? and if i'm taking creatine in a capsule (which ofcourse takes longer to dissolve), then when should i spike my insulin?

Dude the only way to get a significant insulin spike is to consume simple carbs, even though you're on a keto diet, you've gotta consume simple carbs post-workout. If you train hard enough you will simply be replacing muscle glycogen while providing your muscles with much-needed protein.

Ketogenic diets ARE effective but you will find yourself very tired alot of the time, plus you're workouts will lose intensity. I'd allow myself some carbs during the day especially pre and post workout.

This article talks about D-pinitol being used as an insulin-mimicker... Don't know anything about it except what I saw here, so you may want to take a look around for more information. Hope it helps!
