Yep, for many, creatine can help one lose fat and
gain strength and muscle size! The initial
weight gain you see will be water that is drawn into your muscles, which is good. This will enable you to lift more when you workout, and thus make faster lean muscle gains, given you do everything else right (eat, rest, train properly, etc). The initial amount you gain off your loading phase depends on many things that vary between each individual. Some people can gain 5-10 pounds right after having loaded up on creatine, while others may notice minimal gains initially, then more explosive gains the longer they are on creatine. So, it depends on the person.....I know for myself, I can gain an easy 7 pounds of weight within the first week of having loaded up on creatine.
