Well as your such a guru why don't you offer some thoughts????What I was referring to the moral differences regarding legal pro-hormones and illegal steroids.

What makes pro-hormones safer? they still come with the same side effects, just because some manufacturer puts them in a nice shiny bottle and sells them for an inflated price it makes them ok?????

There is no difference morally.
The more test you put in your body the more potential for side effects.
Pro-hormones there's less testosterone/estrogen therefore less potential side effects.Just like taking smaller doses of real steriods compared to larger doses.
What prohormones claims they're 100% safe?

What Steve said.

Maker, I'll save you some time. Everyone else, if you go to Maker's website and a product mentioned here is not sold, he is going to tell you that it is useless and that you should disregard any research indicating otherwise.

Are the side effects worth the results? Sure the real thing is going to work but is it worth risk?

There was a guy at the gym where i work out, huge, i mean huge
He was about 6ft and had to weigh in the neighborhood of 300Lbs at about 6% body fat.

Well i go into the gym the other day, go to the water fountain and there is his obituary on the board.

30 yrs old dies of a heart attack.

Do i know for a fact he was taking steroids? no, but i didn't just fall off the turnip truck either.

Working out is supposed to increase your health level and give you a better life not end it early

Well from speaking to people that new him well, he was having alot of health problems, that were attributed to the use of anabolic steroids. Enlarged heart, liver and kidney problems. You can take from this what you want, but i am not willing to gamble my life.

Have to agree with Jock. There are many guys who abuse them. At the doses the pro's use it (and many boards recommend) you will undoubtedly see many people who have health problems from steroid abuse. All drugs can play havoc with your life.

Like all things we will come across in our lifetimes, steroids are neither good nor evil. It is how they are handled that creates the good or evil.

It is a shame that the young man died. My condolences to his family and friends. As far as the cause of death, I would be careful of gym rumors. Jealousy fuels them much as anything else.

Its wierd man because the pro's seem to have taken a 'more is better' approach to steroid use, I've seen some of the dosages that the old-school bodybuilders Mike Mentzer, Arnold, Mike Platz etc used to take, they were much more sensible.

Then again, I don't think any kind of long-term use is good for anyone.

The difference is use and abuse.Jock is right.
This is an age old contraversy and will never be solved..
Some doctors say that Anobolics are evil for the body..
Then again some say that light doses of anabolics for the body are actually Good for the body..Who is right???beats me!
I recommend reading The Body Building Truth, by Nelson Montana..Great stuff in there.
