Creatine

do we really know enough about creatine this day of age to really know if its bad for you or not? im not really willing to take it as of now because i haven't heard enough about its longterm effects. all i have heard is... "it shouldn't be harmful because..." but they don't really know because it ahsn't been out there for a long time. people used to think steroids were good for you, but now we know otherwise. couldn't it be the same for creatine or no?

Creatine is nothing but a storage sink for high energy phosphate groups, which replenish ATP. It is a natural component of red meat. It is also made from 3 amino acids :arginine, glycine and Methionine. It has been available for over 10 years now.

COUNTLESS studies show it to be safe, but I suppose in about 75 years we should know for sure, in case you want to wait.

Creatine won't stunt your growth if that's what you're getting at. A sophomore will get about as much benefit from it as would someone that's 24.
