Hmmmm - I know nothing about steroids, but I know that there are a lot of threads that discuss this. Click on the search button and look for steroids. I'll see what I can come up with.

everything you wanted to know about steroids......

I sure hope not, keep calories high right through your post-cycle therapy and consider and anti-catabolic when you finish like Clen/ECA.

Keep the training hard but drop the frequency of your workouts and expect some muscle loss.

The muscle loss is only temporary. You will lose some when you come off, but strict attention to diet and workout intensity will bring the gains back.

In my experience most people lose focus post cycle. While on, they do everything right, but once the cycle ends so does the attention they paid to nutrition and training. That is why the losses appear so drastic.

Eating clean, using EFA's and protein drinks are imperative to regaining/keeping muscle. You should also consider using supps for cortisol control. Your workouts shoud only go to failure if you are doing one or two sets per body part. But I find that not going to failure, and keeping total sets low works better (at least for me).

This is a subject I have very stong opinions about.

Another thing one might consider - while on a cycle, we eat a lot more than usual, right? So when we come off, we think we have to come off the food as well, which is a big mistake. How are you gonna sustain your new muscle mass with less food?

Iron's comment is right on. Iron, what anti-catabolic supps do you recommend?

Thumbs up

Kynoselene -- had great results with it. I give it 2 thumbs up!

Phosphdityle sereine (PS) -- really blew the spelling of that one. Kind of expensive but good for cortisol control.

Your idea about food is right on the money. I think most guys not only slack off in the food department but the probably tend to overtrain as well, thinking the harder they work the more they will keep.

Velvet Bean

Velvet Bean (Mucuna pruriens) a source of the dopa that's converted by the brain to the neurotransmitter dopamine. Reductions in dopamine have been associated with Parkinson's disease, which occurs when brain cells that produce dopamine are destroyed. Velvet beans have actually been used in clinical trials to treat Parkinson’s. The researchers at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine used a velvet bean preparation called HP-0 which is derived from the inner part of the bean. The HP-0 was standardized so that each gram of the preparation contained 33.33 milligrams of L-dopa. Velvet bean also contains bufotenine (a cholinesterase inhibitor) and serotonin (a brain neurotransmitter that may be involved in learning, sleep, and control of moods). Bufotenine treats parasitic intestinal worms; pesticide. In Ayurvedic medicine it’s considered a tonic and aphrodisiac to the reproductive system, rejuvenative, excellent for Vata. An herbal source of levadopa. 1 tablespoon = 25/100 Sinemet but without the carbidopa.

It may help with improving sexual dysfunction, loss of libido, stimulating arousal, and increasing intensity and frequency of orgasms for both men and women. L-Dopa is an effective inhibitor of pituitary prolactin release. Excess prolactin is thought to cause erection failures.
