Question

Do you think these supplements work?

hello,

I am 23 almost 24 years old and i am about 87 kg and 1.93m.
I take a shake 3 times a day with 80%carbs and 20% proteins.
Then i take 3 times a day with meals 2 tabs of aminoacid 4500 and on my training days i take 3 amino tabs before and 3 after working out.
I train 4 times a week with a split program.
I also take 8 tabs of Smilax (=mexican sarsaparilla) daily, it supposed to increase the testerone level. 1 tabs contains about 500mg of that herb.

Ingredients of amino 4500 : (amount in 10 tabs)

L-Arginine 280 mg
L-Isoleucine 422 mg
L-Lysine 198 mg
L-Phenylaline 170 mg
L-Tryptophane 260 mg
L-Histidine 1078 mg
L-Leucine 1299 mg
L-Methionine 269 mg
L-Threonine 522 mg
L-Valine 433 mg
L-Aspartic Acid 1154 mg
L-Alanine 436 mg
L-Glycine 315 mg
L-Serine 229 mg
L-Glutamic Acid 1866 mg
L-Cystine 1098 mg
L-Proline 640 mg
L-Tyrosine 331 mg

Do you think I use crap or do you think it' works??? My sport nutrition store adviced me this.

THX

Frederick.

Yes, you need to bring up your protein intake. Similax is does not work. But to tell you the truth when I was in high school I took Similax from a company called Adonis and I think it work. Maybe it had something else in inside.

Amino Acids are good, but is not a supplement that you will notice a quick result. Stick with supplements that have been proven to work such as:

Creatine Monohydrate, L-Glutamine, Whey Protein, 1-AD, 1-Test, No2 (AKG)

Try something like this for your body weight 87kg (191 lbs) have an intake of about 238 grams of protein a day. If you divide that into 6 meals that gives you about 40g per meal.

You get all the aminos you need from protein shakes....why supplement with extra aminos? IMO it's a waste of money.

extra aminos are ok if you are running late and cant get a meal or shake down you eg; boardroom meeting thats went on for hours. but if your ability to make and eat meals at specific times are no problem then they are not a necessity. i would not say they are a waste of time. they can be valuable at correct times.

corteztk19,

I have tried both products. The 1-test is supposed to be better, but personally I have seen better results with the 1-AD.

I noticed strength and size. I also noticed that my skin got tighter.

As far as side effects, I notice being a little bit aggresive and a couple of pinpals. But, I think it also has to do with the enviroment, food, and stress.

I dont care for pro hormones i like the real deal but 1-ad is great. u def need to up the protein uptake 1.5-2g per pound of body weight.

NO2 is a up and coming proven supplement I take it but it can be very expensive but you get what u pay for .

like this stuff here http://www.betterbodymall.com/Cart/S...ct.cfm?PID=685
GLutamine ande creatine are a must for even an advnaced bb

1-AD converts to 1-test. 1-Test is active by itself, and is therefore not a prohormone.
