Try drinking more water. With creatine you need to be pissing every hour on the hour, well not quite that bad but close :

I get sick from creatine, and it doesn't matter when or how I take it. I feel like **** after I take it, no matter what. I've tried it a few times and everytime i feel like crap afterwards. I don't throw up but i get a bad stomach ache and such.

Re

I feel 'not so hot' and don't feel very 'clear headed' after taking creatine.

This is probably due to the fact that you weren't drinking enough water.

Creatine does not need to be taken with a high GI carb it does help but is not vital. PWO is optimal for a number of reasons and your PWO shake would be an optimal creatine spike.

Is it a pre mixed formula (eg cell-Tech) were you drinking enough water?

Maybe it wasn't the Creatine prhaps something you eat? Creatine should not have this side effect!

It often does when people don't drink enough water. I've had a few friends have the exact same problem, though 2 of them were retarded and took 30g in one sitting and then drank very little water...
