I heard that creatine doesnt work for everyone. Some people are non-responders. It this true?
I ask because I really havent noticed any size difference from water retention nor any real weight gain. And last week my friend who is my spotter wasnt there. So I did chest without him and did a significant amount less for most excersices. Im almost done with my 2nd cycle and have been using it for about 4 months. Ive trained without it for about 1 1/2 years.

Two things:
1) Are you drinking enough water? The potential dehydrating effects of creatine can affect your performance in the gym in a negative way.
2) You mentioned that you had been training for 1 1/2 years without it. How would you rate your anaerobic fitness level? Did you have a lot of room for growth prior to using creatine, or were you at a plateau?
I am definetly drinking enough, almost over 1 gallon of water a day.
I guess i havent been blessed with the best genetics. My body just isnt a fan of hard training. But over the last two years i think that my potential for higher weights and size have increased. I follow all the rules for gaining mass and strength. So I dont think i was plateuing.
Ive already gotten results in only 9 days. I drink plenty of water and take the same amount everyday. 1/2" on the bicep already. Ive noticed similar if not more impressive results from my friends, but we all take in alot of H20. As far as non-responders I know about 100 kids at my school that have or currently are taking creatine and the only ones who havent gotten some results were those who didn't drink enough water and usually experienced nauseau as a result.
