does whey protein go bad???


hey i just wanted to know if protein powder goes bad if its left there for a while after being opened. I found a jug of kwik size and it sasy best used by jan/04 but i opened it about a year ago and havent used it since, is it still good?\

There sould not be anything wrong with it. It won't kill you if you try it (as long as it had not been exposed to any moist)

If it's still a powder it should be fine. I found some old supplements that were about a year old I had forgotten about, and when I opened them the powder was kind of crystalized and stuck together in chunks. It was pretty disgusting, I had to throw it all out.

As long as its been in a container with the lid on dont worry about it, I always buy out of date protein powder .... I'm cheap you see, like to get a months worth for £13
