Thats the hardest part for everyone mate. Lifting is easy as hell. Getting diet in order is the real test =)

Yeah man if there are days where you just obviously know that you didn't get nearly enough protein in your body then sure go ahead and double up on that shake, it sure isn't going to hurt anything. I'm the same way, for the most part I try to get most of mine through food but sometimes it just doesn't happen so I just throw back an extra shake to get that extra protein that I need in my body.
