I have heard to rely on 2 different powders,1 with little or no carbs, the other with a one to one ratio of simple carbs and protein,at least 30g per serving.Take the one with no or low carbs as a late night meal and the other with carbs right after training.

I use the EAS protein as a dietary suppliment/ muscle regenerator. I take it every morning (I work nights); I take it about 30-45 mins before I workout. I use it more of a muscle regeneration technique. Sometimes Ill drink another shake before I go to work (two shakes all together).

It seems to work for the me. YMMV.

kind regards.

I have used it quite a few times, along with Optimum Nutrition's whey. They are all more or less the same in specs, but differ a bit in taste. All in all they are quite good (in my opinion)

Use protein supplements as a, well, supplement - especially when you do not have access to 'natural' protein at the time (like eggs, meat, etc) I prefer to take mine shortly after my workout and whenever I need to get some proteins in but do not have time to prepare something.
