It doesnt really bother me that that PARTICULAR product is going to be banned. I dont use it and never have. However, it DOES bother me that the government is stepping in and doing this.

Now that this has happened the door is open for them to start regulating or banning other supplments like creatine, whey protein, etc. We already have to worry about Senate bill S. 722 and this is just something else to give them reason to pass it.

http://www.fda.gov/oc/initiatives/ephedra/december2003/

Here is the official FDA website announcement. Looks like we have 60 days to stock up.

Mike, at 1fast400, said that he has bought up most of the different distributors' products and should have a lot of them as closeout.

After my ephedrine and PHs, I'm stocking up on ammunition for the upcoming Revolution.....bastards.

Personally, I see this as a case of the FDA caving into a demonization blitz perpetuated by the media.

You've got to be joking, well ephedrine I can handle ... no big deal I'll just buy it off the black market, but if they EVER even THINK about banning whey protein I'll personally go down there with a shotgun and ask them what the HELL they're doing

The media has become a monster, abusing its power for its own brand of righteousness. They are just as bad, dangerous, and abusive as those who they rail against.

The best thing to switch to is a proper diet which will provide you sufficient energy and help you lose weight. That's the safest and most effective way to get it done.

That is my view as well. Personally as of right now the ONLY supplements I take are Flax Seeds, Flax Seed Oil and i use whey protein for my Flax bars. Thats it and the whey protein is like 2 scoops a week (For the bars).

I suggest Lean System 7 ......gotta be one of the best I ever found, I'd compare it to ephedra infact.

Par Deus and I are working on something that (theoretically) will offer comparable results. I am having a really hard time locating one of the ingredients, though, so it looks to still be 2 months or so out.
