Ephedrine Stack Alternative Needed

I have in the past used Ripped Fuel and Hydroxycut with good results and negligible side effects. Now that there are concerns over the safe use of Ephedrine, and since most retailers no longer carry the product, I am looking for a safer alternative.

I am familiar with the Ephedrine, Caffeine, and Aspirin ‘stack’ that some people have used as a no-frills, lower cost system. I would like to know whether there is an equivalent Synephrine / Caffeine / Aspirin stack that has been shown to be effective. I don’t want to blindly experiment without having some basis to work from, but I can’t seem to find any information on the Internet specifically for this.

If you have any links to reputable sites, or know the ‘accepted’ dosage combination, I would appreciate your input.

Hi, it's a shame you have chosen to believe the media, despite what they say about ephedrine, it is very safe. The times at which it becomes harmful are people greedy to speed up a natural process, losing fat. Now onto Synephrine, ..... the main positive effect of this chemically extraqcted compound is that you can take itwithout the negative effect on the CNS like Ma Huang. It is still a mild stimulant though. As I understand synephrine is a chemical found in a plant as well as ma huang, all the side chemicals found in the main compound synephrine affect you just the same as ephedra would, except they stimulate different receptors (beta-3, but not beta-1, beta-2 or alpha-1) which means you ain gonna get the negative cardiovascular affects of ephedra (..which stimulates all beta receptors). Octopamine is contained in synephrine, ..... this is a core chemical in appetite control and has been used with good results on dogs and humans.....so thus making it better as a suppressent than ma huang. My advice is try it, be careful but start with half dosage of both the synephrine and caffeine and leave the asprin out all together, oh yeah....you dont wanna use this stuff for more than 3 weeks at a time due to receptor suppression.

I recently read on another forum that the FDA performed control studies on herbal ephedra and were unable to get the negative results they desired. SO, ephedra may not be banned by the FDA after all, but individual states and congress still my move toward that action.

For alternatives, there are several good ones.

Cla- not sure if it works honestly but the science is beginning to say yes. I took if for about three weeks at 6 grams a day and did see results but I can't attribute them to Cla.

Green Tea- I have recently began using ON's Lean Tea extract as a preworkout energizer. It is basically 700 mg of green tea extract (contains 140mg caffiene). I really like it.

Forskolin- Gets a thumbs up from most people. Look at Syntrax MM4

L-Carnitine- Expenisive but supposedly very effective

ALA- another good sup
