FDA approved fat burners

Theres this lame advertisement on the radio in Chicago of this pysician that claims "FDA APPROVED MEDICATION THAT REDUCES BODY FAT" He also offers:

"DIET"
"EXERCISE programs"
"STRESS RELIEVING PROGRAMS"

I am NOT a dum ass whos going to sign up with him or call him when I know diet, cardio and weights is what I need to do.... my question was:

Is there such a thing as "FDA regulated" medication for fat loss?
If so, what are the contents of this medication?

"FDA regulated" means only that the stuff's been approved for sale to the public.

covers everything from vitamins to cough drops. technically, ANYTHING sold in the USA as anything to do with health or medicine is "fda approved".

good call on bypassing that one.

the "approved" fat-burning pills are usually ephedra, dexedrine, caffeine, and similar substances or a combination of stimulants and appetite suppressants.

Yes it could be something as regular as caffeine, which is actually a lot more effective than a lot of fat loss drugs and supps
