Fish Oil Supplements? Ever take them?

Hello I came across a website /www.shop4fishoil.com who sells Dr Sears Fish Oil supplements. Has anybody ever tried this fish oil? I've heard fish oil is very good for the body and this seems like it is high quality fish oil supplements.

Thanks for any information you have about this brand of fish oil.

I'm not familiar with that brand. I use Spring Valley enteric coated fish oil capsules. I should think that all fish oil capsules are similar. Have you checked local sources to see what's available?

Fish oil pills

Hello,

the more i've been reading the more it seems like there are a lot of toxins and mercury in low priced fish oil pills.

So i want to make sure that i know all there is to know about fish oil before picking a brand. As from what I understand once you get mercury in your body (usally from fish/ fish products) it is there for good.

but i've been reading that fish oil has very good benefits so i think its worth the risks if the right brand has been selected.

I need to do more research before i choose still.

Fish Oil is an excellent supplement, it is very high in Omega 3 (the most important EFA) and also Omega 6. I have a few capsules throughout my day. Flax oil is also a great source of EFAs but has a different profile of EFA types so I recommend a bit of each.

Have you checked out consumerlab.com? They tested a number of fish oil brands. Two things they test for in fish oil is Mercury and Dioxins.
