Gain Weight!
I am very thin and have been working out hard for the past few months and eating protien and fat enriched foods as frequently as possible. Are there any supplements I can take with working out that will help gain mass and size? I have used weight gainers for 2 month intervals and were disappointed with the effects. Any feedback on getting bigger would help. Thanks.

Eat more. supplements are not a priority. If your not gaining with supplements and your not without, then its your diet. Eat more.

You have to eat more. I know thats not what you want to hear but its true. Also, the timing of when you eat is just as important as what you eat. Give us an idea on what your diet is like now and we'll see if we can help.

I'm in the same boat as you. I can't eat enough to grow to my full potential. The key is eating big.
I would also try creatine. Of course, it doesn't replace a great diet, but combined with big eating it could help quite a bit.

my diet during the week is usually 3 meals a day with snacking in between. breakfast is usually 2 bowls of cerial with 2% milk, lunch a bagel and cream cheese and chips/pizza and fries/turkey sandwich, dinner can be chicken, steak, hamburgers, tuna fish. My problem is that I am a fairly picky eater which is my biggest problem. THere is not much food i like, and as far as variety, i usually cycle the few meals i like during the week.

In my opinion, it's a choice you have to make. Either you get to eat the tasty food you love, or you get to build muscle. Building muscle involves eating eggs, tuna, chicken, veggies, cottage cheese, protein shakes, etc.. all the time.
Does it taste as good as pizza? Nope.
Alternatively, does pizza build muscle for me? Nope.

That's your problem right there. Eating 3 meals a day is good enough for the average guy who is content with the way he looks. But for us lean guys who have a hard time putting on muscle, we have to make sacrifices and eat more.
Breakfast is good, maybe throw in a little protein bar and a banana.
Lunch - you need to get the protein in plus some more slow burning carbs to get you through the rest of the day.
Dinner- You have the right idea about meats for this meal, but where are your veggies or fruits??
I'm not the best at helping in this department so maybe Cursor or someone will chime in on this, but its quite obvious your not eating enough. You've got to get it in your head what you want from weightlifting and diet, and then go after it full speed. No half-assing this stuff or you're going to be dissappointed in the end.

The weight gainer you were on probably got most of its cals from sugar and probably did not have enough cals for you try adding this home made bulking shake to your diet and see if it helps you put on size. If you take this and eat about 8 meals a day you should grow.
16p 23c 05f – 2 cups 1% milk
05p 23c 03f – ½ cup oatmeal
03p 01c 05f – 2 tsp peanut butter
01p 26c 03f – 1 banana (approx 4.4 oz)
22p 02c 02f – 1 scoop whey protein
00p 00c 27f – 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
47p 75c 45f = T O T A L – 893 calories

Keep track of your calories for a week or two to make sure you are eating enough everyday. You should be eating at least your bodyweight in lbs. * 18 in calories daily. Weight gain powders are meant to help you get the extra calories needed to gain weight and won't help you gain weight alone.
