Gakic SUCKS!!!!
Got my free sample of gakic last week and saved it today for chest day. Took it just like the directions stated: My bench press was terrible- terrible as in no gains what so ever. I was only able to get 330 3 times on the bench, and my subsequent sets were even worse. I would not reccomend anyone ever wasting their money on this product, their claims are absurd.

:p
well considering you got the sample which is only half the actual serving you're supposed to take, i dont think a noticible change would have happened.
i have friends that take gakic and they have had great results. I dont think it neccessarily sucks;the sample they give out sucks. It should have a whole serving.

due to the placebo effect, your friends would likely have experienced fabulous gains on icing sugar - it's what happens after a couple of weeks that tells the tale.

and you only know they're telling you it's the gakic. could be other stuff they're taking, could be a change in diet, could be a change in routine, could be any number of things.
anybody else here have personal experience with the stuff?
i'm thinking that if it's that great, then even a half-dose sample should've done *something*.

i'm not saying its great, i'm just saying it works for some people.
they're not taking anything else. Possible change in diet; but how would a change in diet allow to to pack on so much muscle weight in such little time? I mean I understand that with the right diet and a good routine you can.
I dont think many people have personal experience with the stuff only cuz its new and plus the sample throws off peoples perspectives of the product.
Personally, I wanna try it, but at 80 bucks a jar, i'll wait for a little bit.

<thinking> you know something, my bench just hit 170 for 3 reps and every single one of my exercises today went up in weight and in some cases, weight and reps.
you know what supplements i take, besides gallons of green tea, protein powder, and glutamine?
nothing.
there's a buncha stuff i'm supposed to take - fish oil, flax oil, multivitamin, creatine, blah, blah, blah, but i can never remember to take the stuff and the fish oil capsules are all stuck together because my sister didn't put the lid back on and let the kettle boil dry and the humidity turned them gross. i used to take ECA but my blood pressure wouldn't come down, so i had to stop it.
as it is, that stuff'll run me about $150 a month and i don't have that kind of money.
so no, i'm not even slightly interested in trying gakic, no-xplode, or any of the other miracle pills on the market.

It's all a matter of how your body reacts to the supplement. I eat a completely healthy diet, almost devoid of any preservatives and the like. I find because of my diet my body reacts alot more to supplements than someone who's diet is not as clean as mine. If you eat processed food as a large portion of your diet your body won't take to the supplements as easily, you want to start with as few chemicals in your body as you can.
I feel like trying GAKIC now just because of the dumb title of this thread, it's like saying that curls suck because your biceps didn't get bigger after your warmup set. When you first start taking creatine most people don't notice an immediate difference, the difference comes over time. Now let me go start my thread titled, "My gym membership card doesn't burn the fat right off my thighs!!!!11lolzwtf"

when you consider that "instant" results are promised, you kind of expect "instant", not "in a while" or "maybe later" or "possibly, after the loading phase".

"instant" is a marketing plow so commonly used that it should be taken for a grain of salt, instant satifaction, instant results, instant credit report, instant dinners, instant replies.....etc. etc.
either way, I went to GNC today and opted for NO-Xplode instead because I know it works, I'll try GAKIC in a few weeks.

but those who understand how marketing works are not hte ones being targetted. the ones being targetted are the young, the naive, the hopeful, and the just plain desperate.
