Look at it this way...
If stuff like this *really* worked don't you think we'd all know that by now? If a topical cream *really* burned fat don't you think the folks selling it would be running multi-million dollar ad campaigns in prime time and Super Bowl half-time commercials instead of hawking it over the net or running cable access infomercials at three in the morning?
There's a very good, very old rule of thumb that applies to things like this - If it seems too good to be true it probably is
