I like ON as well.

For the past year or so however, I've been using trueprotein.com, mainly because it's dirt cheap, tastes good, and mixes better than anything i've come across.

If I were to go back to an "off the shelf" protein it would definitely be ON, chocolate mint was my fav.

A nutritionist on TV called it "cake batter."

i've never tasted muscle milk - but i would never drink a shake with that kind of a macro breakdown. Having a whey shake with a peice of fruit and a handful of nuts would be much better (prob cheaper too, though i dont know how much mm costs)

Besides which, whey is best post workout - and NOT with fats, so muscle milk seems like a silly idea to me.

That being said I have on occasion eaten an 'Oh Yeah' bar which boasts i believe 19grams of fat.. its not a regular occurance though, i swear! yum. yes i am a ball of contradiction it seems.

Why is taking whey protein with fat a bad idea?

I mix my whey with 2%milk every time, should I be using skim?

It is my understanding that fat is necessary, especially while building muscle. I am shooting for a 40C/30P/30F calorie split in my diet.

yea if you think about it, the normal recommendation for sat fats is i believe 20-25 grams, so your talking over 30% of your sat fat daily intake in one scoop

EFAs in moderation are good. 18g of fat, 8 of which is saturated, is not.
