GNC guy recommends muscle milk
Muscle milk bad or good? I debated him in it with the fats in it, and he kept telling me that it's good fats. I don't know muscle milk looks like it's not all that healthy. What do you guys have to say about it.

They will recommend anything to get cash from you. However, I've heard nothing but good about Muscle Milk. People say it tastes like a real milk shake. 18g of fat isn't that bad... 32g of protein is decent also. I wouldn't buy it from GNC, though. Their stuff is so expensive from being marked up. Check out BN: http://www.bulknutrition.com/?products_id=2575

18g of fat is bad, I would avoid it all costs. Young kids on boards tend to like the flavor, but thats about where the usefulness ends. 8g of saturated fat, no good. 170 calories from fat (a lot of bad fat too) and about 130 from protein, would you eat ground beef that was 60% fat?! I don't think so.
Why exactly were you considering muscle milk? By that I mean where was it going to fit in your diet. I hope not PWO.

well if you trust even one I would say that statement is true.
I'm sure the people here could suggest a good alternate for you if you let us know what you were considering it for.

one of my friends drinks it all the time, so I tried it today. He personally loves the taste of it, and he swears that it made him lost weight(probably all in his head). Anyways, it didn't even taste good to me, I mean it wasn't bad but it didn't taste much different than whey protein drinks except for the fact it tasted thicker, probably because of the milk. I'm not even sure I'm going to tell him what he is drinking is bad for him, because he kept telling me at work today that it's good fat and ****. So, yeah, if he wants to drink that **** and become fat that I guess he can even though he thinks he loses weight from drinking it. Probably because on the muscle milk carton they advertise losing weight on it. Which is false advertisement, and someone should have sued the company already for being pricks

18 grams of fat is bad? Since when? You do know fat is necessary for body function, do you not?

Oh wow. That's something. You'd think the feds would be after stuff with that instead of PH.
Very good find, mostmuscle.

18g of fat is generally a bad idea with a protein drink, particularly when almost half of it is saturated. EFAs are the fats you should be looking for rab, not saturated fats which are abundant in muscle milk.

Oh snap I didn't see the 8g saturated. That is high. Good eye. That puts this butter I'm using right now to shame. I haven't had butter in ages and decided to give in and put some on my corn

That sh*t's too expensive for my likings. I'll stick with my ON 100% Whey. Gets the job done, tastes good and is reasonably priced.

Muscle Milk is straight garbage whether you are cutting or bulking. It combines all 3 macros in the same serving which can lead to a fat storage nightmare.

Right on bro.
Drinking the Tropical punch flavor right now. The macro breakdown of ON's stuff is damn good as well.
