Herballife( spelling) is like an amway product. People sell it, get others to sell it and really do not care about the product itself (as far as I have seen).

I guy in my office used to sell it and all the old ladys would by it. They had their shakers and congregated by the water cooler. Do you know anything about this particular product??? Why would you consider taking it?? What benefits does it have? Just because you can steal something doesn't always mean it's worth taking....

Yup, that's exactly what it is. It's like a "get rich quick" sort of deal. Sounds good, but most of them are scams. And, you'll most likely lose some friends if you keep pestering them to buy your products.

There are some that work, though. A friend of mine was able to buy himself a BMW and pay for his college tuition. On top of that, he gives his grandma a weekly allowance. Isn't it supposed to be the other way around?

Anyway, back to topic... I'm sure there are better products than Herbalife out there. Sure, it's a big company and everyone knows them, but they're not necessarily the best. IMO, I'd rather buy the genuine stuff that really works and has research to back it up.

As far as taste goes, their protein bars aren't that bad. My roommate was with Herbalife for two days (then quit! lol ). She made me try the coconut protein bar. Pretty good.

Pyramid schemes work great if you get in on top. Hence the name.

That is very true. Or you could be close to the top and leave all your lackeys below you to do the dirty work. The guy who signed up my friend doesn't even work the business. He gets a portion of what my friend earns and it's enough for him to live off of that.

I've looked into Herbalife products and I'm not impressed. They are way overpriced if you ask me. The serving sizes are kept purpously small so that they can make big claims and sell lots of it. (I found this out by talking to a "big" sales rep and looking at the actual details on the containers.) I'd save my money and spend it on some quality protein powder instead.
